ALS Module 2  Course #  0108535 is a
WV Approved ALS Curriculum for ALS re-certification. Meets all standards for National Registry compliance. Module 2 Topics included are:
Stroke and Pediatric Cardiac Arrest for 4 hours of CE. Presented through the WV RETI Training Institute on-line BlackBoard platform.

BLS Module 1 – October 15, 2020 08:00 – 12:00

BLS Module 1 Course # 0108536 is a WVOEMS approved course.
This Course is presented on RETI BlackBoard using WVOEMS Powerpoint. BLS Module  Ventilation and Capnography, Oxygenation and CPAP, Neurological Injuries. Stroke, EMS Research and Evidence Based Medicine. 4 hours of CE for WV Basic EMS Re-certification.

C3-IFT Provider Course

This Course is for Paramedics seeking certification for C3-IFT. In order to participate in inter-facility transports, paramedics must increase their level of care to that of a Class 3 Paramedic.

According to West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services, the following personnel are eligible to take this course:

For Paramedics that have never been C3-IFT certified: you must be an Unrestricted, Certified EMT-P in WV, successfully complete a WVOEMS approved C3-IFT course, have the recommendation of the Squad Medical Director, have completed 50 ALS Calls, and obtain a passing score on the WVOEMS approved C3-IFT exam (written and practical).

For Paramedics currently C3-IFT: The current C3-IFT Paramedic must complete all the course information, attend skills sessions as required, and obtain a passing score on the WVOEMS approved C3-IFT exam (written and practical).

This is a hybrid course accessed through RETI OpenLMS (previously known as BlackBoard.) Students will have access to course lectures, videos, and references during Sept 21, 2020 08:00 – Oct 2, 2020 17:00.
